Foliage:Bright green oblong divided (pinnate) leaves to 40 mm with 7-11 toothed leaflets which increase in size from bottom to top.
Flowers:Balls of small greenish-white flowers on long stalks. Balls of reddish fruits to 25 mm are covered in brown burrs, October-January
General
Comments:
Soil binding plant. Birds are attracted to the seeds and it makes a good frog habitat. Erosion control through soil binding. Ground cover assisting with moisture retention. Burrs stick to clothing but may restrict foot traffic
