Foliage:Narrow light green foliage 9-20 cm x 1-6 mm. One more prominent vein, others in a network. Gland 5-10 mm from leaf base, on the upper edge. Small point on the tip. Very variable throughout its range.
Flowers:1-2 creamy white to pale yellow spikes or oval heads to 2 cm long in leaf axils, spikes open with central stalk visible between flowers. Narrow, straight or curved pods 4-12 cm x 2-5 mm, slightly constricted between seeds. August-December
Birds are attracted to the insects and seeds. Copes with drought once established. Screen plant with pruning. Plant under established trees.
