Flowers:Dense bright blue pincushion-like flowers, October-January. Many erect unbranched flowering stems with a single pincushion-like flowerhead on each.
General
Comments:

Perennial herb. Good container plant. Butterflies like the nectar.

Likes dry to moist well drained soils in woodlands. Light frosts.
