Foliage:Hairy, pale to olive green leaves. Narrow, spoon-shaped leaves in a basal rosette, smaller stem leaves, 5-13 cm x 5-13 mm.
Flowers:One to several long erect lowering stems with a terminal globular golden yellow flower head to 20 mm across

Excellent dried flower. Erect tufted perennial herb. Frost tolerant. Nectar for butterflies.

Spectacular plant for massed flowering as an understorey plant, on an embankment or in containers. Flowers are long lasting and can be used in fresh or dried arrangements.
