Foliage:Fine bladed leaves that grow to 15cm long x 1mm with inrolled margins.
Flowers:Compact purple grass-like flowerheads 1-5cm long in October to December and March. Mature flowerheads have a fluffy appearance.
General
Comments:

Small tufted perennial grass with slender stems often bent near the base. Ideal for mass planting. May be useful as a lawn grass.

Adaptable and tolerant to a variety of soils. Prefers a moist, slightly shaded position.
